Awagami Asarakusui is a delicate yet durable handmade washi, crafted in Japan using a blend of kozo and abaca (hemp) fibres. Despite its light weight and beautifully organic appearance, the long hemp fibres give it impressive strength and resilience. Featuring:

- 5 assorted colours - Subtle tones to enhance creative expression

- Delicate open texture - Characterised by natural organic holes across the surface

- 27gsm weight - Ultra-light yet surprisingly strong

- Handmade in Japan - Crafted with traditional techniques for authenticity and quality

- Size: 55 x 80cm - Ideal for large-scale works, layering, or collage

Perfect for printmaking, mixed media, papercraft, collage, and book arts, Asarakusui brings a unique tactile and visual element to any project.
