About the event

Join us for afternoon tea as we celebrate the launch of a new gallery theme Marking the Matrix.

The exhibition celebrates the intricate interplay between printmaking processes, tools, and distinctive marks left by an artist's hand. Emphasising the endless possibilities of manipulating the matrix - the surface that transfers ink on paper - it raises questions about a printmaker's role in traditional processes and explores creating prints by pushing boundaries or without leaving a single mark on the matrix.

Artists: Tony Ameneiro, Mel Anderson, Tegan Bailey, Elaine Camlin, Angela Coombs Matthews, Fiona Davey, Kasia Fabijańska, Kate Gorringe-Smith, Christina Reid + more to be announced!!!

Join us on Saturday 31 August, 12pm -2pm to see works by some our favourites, and new artists joining U/S!

Showcase on display: 2 September - 2 November 2024

FREE EVENT | RSVP appreciated for catering purposes
