
Refugee Women's Wellbeing Art Therapy Program
An opportunity for participants to share their experiences in a safe, culturally supported environment.
A program to explore lived experiences and creative self-expression for mental health and wellbeing.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
OUR AIM:
To provide support for mental health and wellbeing of refugee women who have experienced trauma and are often caregivers for other members of their communities.
To support participants, strengthen their social connection and confidence, and increase refugee community awareness of mental health and wellbeing.
WHEN:
Friday's 12pm -2pm​
Each session will run for 2 hours with 6- 8 participants.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each session is facilitated by Elaine Camlin, a registered Art Therapist.
WWMC will provide community language interpreters to assist Elaine in facilitating activities.
Childcare will be offered on site (when applicable) to enable participation of women with small children.
